Eastlan’s Child
Enrichment Ministry
We provide ministry to children and families
through a Bible-based, developmentally-appropriate educational curriculum and a
Christ-like love so that children can develop a healthy self-esteem and reach their
full potential spiritually, mentally, socially and physically. This mission
of Eastlan's Child Enrichment Ministry is based on the belief that each child
is a unique creation of God and grows and learns according to his or her own ability
and development level.
Kindergarten
E.C.E.M. offers kindergarten classes for K3, 4
& 5. Children in K5 achieve academic excellence with a spiritual
foundation using strong curriculum, including:
McMillan/McGraw-Hill Phonics,
Saxon Math,
Zaner-Bloser Handwriting,
Spanish, French, and WEE Learn, which encourages developmental and academic
growth as children experience God’s world through enriching activities.
Extracurricular activities include Chapel, Creative Arts, Stretch and Grow,
CompuChild,
and great field trips.
Kindergarten classes are small and
individually-based. Teachers are conscientious and take their
responsibilities seriously. With love and gentleness, teachers bathe each child’s
progress in prayer. Challenging lesson plans are made to be creative and
fun. Teacher/child relationships are intentionally personal, and parent
communication and involvement is highly encouraged. All of this makes an excellent
environment for a child to gain self-esteem and a real love for learning.
