Our Commitment to Christian Education
A great way to grow in your walk with
Jesus is to read and study the Bible, “God’s Holy inspired, error-free
Word.” Our Bible Study classes give you a systematic opportunity to read,
learn and share experiences through active Bible study in an atmosphere of
Christian fellowship.
Small Groups and Bible Study
Eastlan provides an environment where you can
develop and expand your knowledge of Jesus while you deepen your relationships
among a local fellowship of believers. Our classes provide something for
everyone at any age or stage of life. At Eastlan, we want God’s
Word to change our lives so we can be more like Christ!
Infants
and Children
Our “Bed
Babies” nursery (room 112) is a place to find Jesus’ love, joy and
kindness. Everyone here has a rocking good time!
Our “One
and Two Year-Olds” (room 118) enjoy hearing Bible stories and songs
each week.
Our “Three
thru Five Year-Olds” class (room 122) has weekly activities based
on Bible stories. This class has great attendance!
Our “Grades
1 and 2” class (room 204) is where young children really start
learning about Bible characters. It’s fun, too!
Our “Grades
3 thru 5” class (room 202) is filled with kids eager to learn each
week. These children are really smart!
Youth
Youth and students “Grades
6 thru 12” (room 224) meet, study, worship and fellowship together
under the direction of our Youth Minister.

Young
Adult
The “College
and Career Class” (room 248) is perfect for college students and
young people who are out of high school. Our pastor’s wife leads this
class.
Adult
The “Prepare
and Share Class” (room 243) appeals to adults of all ages and
marital status. Each person studies at home and prepares to share what was
learned through his or her study. Personal spiritual blessings abound in
this class since this type of study is the most fulfilling experience a
person can ever have.
The “Single
and Single Again Class” (room 250) is a growing co-ed class
specifically designed to meet spiritual needs of single people. Bible
studies for this class include lessons from Masterwork, Beth Moore, Adrian Rogers
and John Piper.
The “Friendship
Class” (room 251) is an open-forum for adults of any age, single,
married, male and female. The Bible is used as the text. Discussions are
informal, impromptu and informative. Multi-week studies are based on
pre-assigned scripture passages chosen by the class.
The “Women’s
2 Class” (room 249) is the “JOY” class, which stands for Jesus
first, Others second and Yourself last! This class has a motto of “love one
another”, and its purpose is to glorify God by serving others.
The “Women’s
3 Class” (room 247) is the “Lydia”
class, named for the woman from the Bible who was a Gentile business
person. This class is filled with love and fellowship, and attendance is
always high! The HCSB and KJV versions are used for Bible study and weekly
lessons.
The “Women’s
5 Class” (room 146) is the “Rebekah”
class ideal for senior ladies who enjoy sharing love, personal ministry and
Bible study together.
The “Men’s
3 Class” (room 252) is a class for senior men who enjoy fellowship
and Bible study. The coffee is great and it’s never late!
The “Men’s
4 Class” (room 221) is a senior men’s class where serious Bible is
found. Perfect attendance is a common occurrence in this class.
The “Co-Ed
1 Class” (room 253) is a Bible study class for young adults,
especially those with young children. These are some of the busiest folks
at Eastlan!
The “Co-Ed
2 Class” (room 244) takes over where the Co-Ed 1 class leaves off.
It is a perfect class for adults through middle age.
The “Co-Ed
4 Class” (room 218) is for adults from middle age and up. This is a
class of learning, love and fellowship with good food and coffee each week.
The “Co-Ed
5 Class” (room 213) is a loving and caring class for senior adults
from their sixties and up. This is one of Eastlan’s
largest and most vibrant Bible study classes.
Special Bible Study Classes
Special Bible Study classes are available for
small groups seeking a special topic or unique setting for study. Some classes are held at church, others
are held in homes. If you enjoy a
change from the usual, try one of these special Bible Study classes.
Discipleship Training
An important aspect of Christian growth is
learning to grow as a disciple of Christ.
Eastlan holds special training classes intended to help you increase
your Christian discipleship.
