Our Commitment to Ministry
Eastlan is
committed to Christian ministry and offers a range of ministry
opportunities geared for every member of the family. Whether you are a
member, guest, or part of our church congregation, everyone is invited to
experience the love and support offered through our various ministries.
Prayer Ministry
Prayer is the most important aspect in
Christian living. At Eastlan, prayer teams gather regularly to give
concerns to God, asking that His will be done in every situation. A prayer
service is held each Wednesday to lift our hearts and minds in one accord.
A Pastor’s prayer session is held early each Sunday morning. Other groups
gather for special prayer purposes and needs. As Pastor says, prayer should
always be the first response, not the last resort, when dealing with any
issue in life.
Family Ministry
Families are under serious attack in our
culture. There are issues that threaten the definition of marriage itself.
Hectic schedules, demands and pressures of this world are hard on families.
That’s why it is so important that families have opportunities to come to a
safe place to worship, learn, unwind and enjoy fellowship with one another.
Eastlan provides families with opportunities throughout the year to share

Children
It is often said that children are the future. We believe it! From babies to
kids through K-5, children are loved at Eastlan!
Throughout the year, our children’s ministries
offer kids wonderful Bible-based Sunday School classes, children’s programs
and outreach opportunities. Special events are scheduled in the spring,
fall and holiday seasons. Summer programs kick into full gear as soon as
school is out, beginning with an awesome Vacation
Bible School.
During the summer, Eastlan offers adventurous outings for fun and
fellowship!
All of Eastlan’s children’s activities are
under the watchful guidance of qualified leadership and sound
Biblical teaching. We continually strive to lead children to
that time when they will accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and
Savior. Through it all, children have fun and excitement of living for
Jesus! They also learn that Jesus loves them!
Eastlan’s Child Enrichment Ministry (E.C.E.M.) is our
preschool program that teaches kids the love of Jesus during the school
year, Mondays-Fridays from 8:30 am
to 12:30 pm.

Students and Youth
Eastlan offers a variety of ministries and
activities to students, ages from junior high (6th grade) to pre-college,
while providing a meaningful program founded upon the love of Jesus through
fun, fellowship, Bible Study, outings, praise and worship, mission
opportunities and more!
Summers are full of great activities including
swim parties, cookouts, concerts, in-home fellowships, mission tours,
retreats and more!
During the school year, we have Wednesday
evening student praise and worship. Youth also take part in such
international emphases as “True Love Waits” and “See You at the Pole.”
Youth also have opportunities to participate in special activities such as
“Acquire the Fire” conferences, winter ski trips and other great events.
Eastlan welcomes students with open arms and strives to provide ongoing
excitement with devotion to our Lord Jesus through sound Biblical teaching
and counsel.

College and Career
Young people who are out of high school and
those who go on to colleges or trade schools have one thing in common -
they each face important decisions that will affect the rest of their lives.
Eastlan's College and Career class provides a place for young people to learn
how to cope with the stresses of everyday life through engaged Bible Study.
Although the size of this group may fluctuate in number from week to week,
it is an important part of the ministry offerings at Eastlan.
Wherever you are in life and whatever your age
may be, you always need Jesus. If you are out of high school or in college,
or if you're a young professional, stay in touch with us - we want to be part
of your life!
Single and Single Again
Eastlan has worked long and hard to be a place where single people feel
comfortable. This ministry is especially important for helping overcome
stereotypes and pressure that society places on single people. Eastlan offers singles and those who are single again a
place for Bible Study and worship in an atmosphere of love and friendship,
without pressure!

Adult and Senior Adult
Adults at Eastlan
have fun and fellowship throughout the year with classes and events
designed to meet their needs. Several choices of adult Bible Study classes
are available to choose from. Eastlan offers coed
classes, women’s classes and men’s classes. All groups have their own
unique appeal to individuals. If you are new to Eastlan, take time to experience more than one
class before making a decision of which class is right for you!
The Triple “L” Club (Living Longer & Liking It!) for
senior adults offers monthly lunch meetings with guest speakers and
entertainment. As one of our most active groups, Eastlan’s
seniors constantly prove that age is more than a matter of the body- it’s a
matter of the heart!
The Pastorals is a musical ministry that travels to
assisted-living centers and nursing homes throughout the area playing
heartfelt music with crystal bells. This group, led by our Pastor, delivers
the gift of Christ's love wherever it goes!
Homebound
No church would be complete without having
members who are unable to attend Bible Study classes or worship services
due to health reasons. Eastlan has a special
place in its heart for folks who are homebound. We have a team of people
who provide special ministry to you. Eastlan also
began its television ministry with you in mind. Be sure to watch us each
